Day #3 - Your First Love.

Finally getting around to my 3rd day of the blog challenge…my first love. Oh boy.

You know what? I’ll keep this short…like our relationship.

His name was Jason. Everyone called him Razo. He was my first love. The first boy I thought I could actually marry. He was 10 years older than me and the start of me realizing that I’m the oldest 23 year old you’ll ever meet and older guys suit my personality better. You have my full permission to be disgusted by the age gap. I’m ok with it and it doesn’t bother me one bit. Anyway, Razo was cute, had a ton of friends, a great place in Pacific Beach and loved to be social, go out, have fun…everything the 21-year-old me was looking for. I adored him and he broke my heart. It was awful at the time, but I’m so grateful he ended it. I’m pretty sure I was a stage 5 clinger and slightly addicted to how much fun I had when I was in PB with him and all of his friends. We would have never made it, but I will say that it was a VERY fun 4 months…until it wasn’t fun anymore. I went through the whole excruciating process and then went on to have the best time of my life during my senior of college…something that never would have happened if I had been driving back and forth from Orange County to San Diego every weekend.

So, Razo, not that you’ll ever read this, but still…Thank you for the all of the fun times, for loving me even for a short time and for letting me go.

xoxo,
